Dion Z is one of the seven auction foals with the genes of the influential 1.50m jumping mare Larthago. Larthago delivered Grand Prix horses like Hopes are High, Cevin Z, Soren Z and Harley VDL, but also Dion's dam Celine. Her sire is the popular Holsteiner stallion Connor, who is bred out of the full sister of Corrado I and II and is closely related to Chellano Z. Top progenitor Diamant de Semilly matches excellent with Holsteiner genes and is represented here by a very promising foal.
