Everse Stables has good reason to celebrate. Thursday Boemerrang (by Namelus R) won the Dutch championship for 4-year-old KWPN-bred show jumpers. Bilion van de Lindhorst (by Emilion) finished third. Both horses are part-ownership of Mario and Mischa Everse.
Boemerrang (Namelus R x Mermus R), presented by Chantal Regter, received a 9,2 for his jumping style and an 8,5 for his rideability. The judges were Rob Ehrens and Piet Raijmakers. The champion will be auctioned at the Expo Talent Sale in Hengelo, which will take place in december.
Bilion van de Linthorst (Emilion x Amethist), who showed a lot of scope, received an 8,2 and 8,5. Leon Kuijpers was the rider of this promising chestnut.
Mischa Everse also saddled a few young horses for the championships. On the first day the 6-year-old Zerly (by Querlybet Hero) made an unfortunate fault at the last fence, which gives her no change for a high end result. On the second day Zerly won the 2nd price and in the finale the mare finished 9th. The 5-year-old Allegro (by Cobra) also was qualified for the final but he was tired and gained some penalties.
