A successful and valuable wrap-up of the Sunshine Tour 2025 - News

The third and final week of the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera has come to an end! We look back on a fantastic time under the Spanish sun. The weather conditions were ideal, the courses were challenging, and the facilities were excellent—creating the perfect setting to further develop our horses and take them to the next level.

Impressive performances and sporting highlights
Our horses performed exceptionally well, with several stepping up to a higher level. One of the highlights of the week was Dudock Z (Darco) with Roosje Brouwer, who delivered a flawless round in the 1.50m course. Maribelle (Heathrow) with Senna Everse also secured multiple placings, even claiming a victory!

The absolute highlight was the performance of Hamos Z (Halifax van het Kluizebos) in the final with Roosje Brouwer. They fought for the win until the very last moment and ultimately secured an impressive fourth place in a strong field of 80 qualified seven-year-olds. A fantastic achievement that truly showcases their talent and quality!

Valuable experiences and expanding our network
These weeks in Spain were not only successful but also highly educational. The horses gained valuable international experience and continued their development. Additionally, we made many new connections and saw several horses we previously sold now excelling with their new riders. Horses sold through our auction, Youhorse.auction, were also well represented and performed excellently. It was wonderful to meet enthusiastic owners who are happy with their horses—some of which have already been resold, a true sign of success and trust in our selections!

The strong performances of our horses also brought us extra attention, something we deeply appreciate. This helps us expand our network even further and opens up exciting opportunities for the future. With these incredible results, we return home with confidence, ready for new challenges.

Teamwork
A huge thank you to everyone involved in this tour—from grooms and riders to our loyal supporters. A big compliment also goes to the organization for putting together a fantastic event! Additionally, we want to thank the drivers who safely transported our horses and those who kept everything running smoothly at home, both at the stable and the auction. Thanks to their efforts, everything went perfectly!
