After jumping clear rounds in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup of Linz and jumping without jumping faults in the CSI5* Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Sopot, James and Amarillo earned their spot in the Australian team. “I am really happy to be selected to represent my country at the Olympic Games. The first time was great, but this is really great", James says.
"I really enjoyed the whole Olympic experience in London. I hope to be in the individual final this time. In London I missed out by one time fault. I am always working to be better and to learn more about myself and my horses. I have only been riding Amarillo since March, but I have known and liked him for a long time. I am grateful for the opportunity to ride such a horse."
