Back from Sunshine Tour with loads of experience

The Sunshine Tour at Vejer de la Frontera was all about learning and gaining experience. The young horses of Stal Everse, but also Mila and Senna have learned a lot during the competition in Spain. Today the horses came home safely.

"Despite the bad weather, we had a good tour and the horses and riders gained a lot of good experiences", says Mario Everse. "Holly Hunter came to Spain with only experience at 1m height and in the last week she was one of the best 6yo in the finals. The course was a big 1.30m track, so she made a huge progression."

El Capone 1.45m
The 7yo Gogo F and Google jumped successfully at 1.40m level with Anoek van der Pluijm. Anoek and El Capone jumped their first 1.45m course. "Very convincing and easy. A small rider mistake kept them out of the jump-off. .Anoek was very successful with no less than 23 prizes in the three weeks she was there in classes with 100 participants and more," says Mario.

Kerswin and Mischa achieved the fourth prize in the 1.40m Queens Cup in a field of 76 amazones. "They were all very motivated to win there, so the ladies went all out in the jump-off!"

The 7yo Galidos and Gogo jumped their 1.35m courses very convincingly under Mischa Everse. Doron Kuipers is the new rider of our F. Termie to train her for the highest level. 'The mare jumped 1.30m level with Mischa and Anne van Vulpen a few times, Doron started her at 1.40m and 1.45m level and that went very well and clear."

Mila and Senna
The daughters of Mario and Mischa also did an excellent job. Mila won many prizes at 1.10m level and opted for the 1.20m class on the last day. "This class she also won, so she was incredibly happy. She competed twice last weekend and won both times. Senna has also made a big step. She rode at 1.30m level a couple of times. No prizes due to small mistakes, but the clear rounds are coming!"

Senna will compete in the international Children classes in Opglabbeek next week. Mila will ride the KNHS indoor championship with Tuidam next Saturday.
