CSI Oliva: Roosje Brouwer wins Silver Tour Grand Prix

Roosje Brouwer was on a roll during the second week of CSI Oliva. And to top it off, she won the Silver Tour Grand Prix 1.40m. Roosje clocked the fastest clear round in the jump-off in a time of 38.55 seconds with I-Star (Big Star x Carthago Z).

In addition to I-star's victory, there were many more great rankings. In the final of the 7-year-olds (1.35m) on Wednesday, Roosje Brouwer finished fourth with Kiekum and 10th with Kazelli VDL (Arezzo VDL x Indoctro).

Thursday
On Thursday I-Star, Icen, Jackie and Kazelli competed succesfully in different classes. I-star jumped a clear round and finished thirteenth in the Silver GP Qualifier (1.35m). The 9-year-old Icen (Iceman de Muze x Eaton du Rezidal) also jumped a very nice course under Roosje in the 1.40m class and finished sixth. Jackie Lanta (Warrant x Chello III VDL) jumped convincingly in the 1.40m class and finished tenth and Kazelli VDL again showed her form and finished fourth in the 7-year-old class.

Kerswin van 't Roosakker (Echo van 't Spieveld x Diamant de Semilly) jumped to a fifth place in the 1.35m class under the saddle of Doron Kuipers.

Friday
I-Star again won prizes on Friday and was fifth in the 1.40m class, just 1.79 seconds behind the number one. Icen became second in the 1.35m class and showed himself in a very good way and Jackie Lanta finished fourth in the 1.40m class. With an eleventh place with Icen on Sunday in the 1.30m class, CSI Oliva ended in a great way.

Kerswin van 't Roosakker again showed his qualities and became the winner of the 1.40m in two phases in a time of 26.79 seconds, more than a full second faster than the number two.

Good developments
“All horses jumped very good rounds. It is nice to see that all horses are developing well and that they can compete for the prizes.”, concludes Mario Everse.
