During the final week of the Costa del Sol Equestrian Tour in Mijas the horses of Everse Stables perform very well. Yesterday, Thursday March 12th, Dutch Blue (Mr.Blue) won the final for seven year olds with Doron Kuipers, while Dropshot (Unaniem) finished third with Mischa Everse. A week earlier, both horses also were 1st and 3rd in a class for seven year olds. Iceman de Muze (Erco van 't Roosakker) won the 11th prize in the final with Mischa. The day before Iceman de Muze, Dropshot and Dutch Blue finishedl 5th, 7th and 8th in the class for seven-year-olds.
In the finals for six year olds, El Capone M (Baloubet du Rouet) took the 7th position with Mischa Everse. Stable mate Enrico (Baloubet du Rouet) became 9th with Doron Kuipers. The days before they also jumped clear round.
Also impressive were the 1st and 3rd prize in the final for five-year-olds, by Flinck (Ustinov) and Fanta Lime (Cantos), who were previously owned by Everse Stables. They were sold as a four-year-olds to Alan Waldman. Rider of the horses is Bart van de Maat.
Today, Friday, Doron was runner-up with Charmeur (Sydney) in the Premium Big class.
