The prestigious Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera is in full swing, and Stal Everse has traveled to the sunny south of Spain with a group of 14 talented horses. This annual tour offers an excellent opportunity to elevate both horses and riders to a higher level, and the first week has already delivered great successes.
Promising combinations in the ring
The Stal Everse team consists of nine young talents competing in the young horse classes and five experienced horses participating at higher levels. Roosje Brouwer is riding seven horses, Senna Everse is competing with four and Mischa Everse is bringing out three horses.
"We see this tour as a fantastic opportunity to have fun with our horses while developing them further in a relaxed way," says Mario Everse. "The initial results show that we are on the right track."
Successful first week
The first week of the tour brought not only beautiful weather but also excellent performances. Here are some of the most notable results:
- Capellini d'Sg (7-year-old mare by Comilfo Plus Z): Three clear rounds and placed three times. This mare showed great quality and dedication.
- Zuper (7-year-old gelding by Zento): Reliable, comfortable, and always sharp on the jump. Zuper gives his rider a lot of confidence and excels in comfort and effort.
- Hamos (7-year-old gelding by Halifax van het Kluizebos): Light-footed and fast, with impressive technique. A standout horse both in and out of the ring.
- Lotus (9-year-old gelding by George Z): Made a successful debut at 1.45m. He combines power, quality, and intelligence and stands out for his technique and flawless rounds.

- Big Tip (7-year-old gelding by Big Star): New under the saddle of Senna Everse and already a promising combination. Displays great power and commitment.
- Marbelle (8-year-old mare): Competed in her first 1.40m last December. Marbelle jumps with a lot of effort and quality and seems like a horse that can bring victories. She is bought in the Youhorse.auction.
- Maloca (7-year-old gelding by Marshall Fields 111): Competed at 1.10m in December and is already making an impression in the seven-year-old classes with clear rounds. A real eye-catcher with great potential.
- Nada Mucho Z (7-year-old stallion by Perigueux): Performed exceptionally well in Oliva last year and once again shows power and caution in the courses.
- Navajo (6-year-old gelding by Nixon van 't Meulenhof): Purchased through the Youhorse.auction, this gelding effortlessly completed three clear rounds. He jumps lightly and shows promise for the higher levels.
- Sixpack Z (6-year-old gelding by Stakkato Gold): Comes from a mare line that has produced multiple 1.60m Grand Prix horses. He combines technique with an excellent mindset and seems to perform best under greater challenges.
