Roosje Brouwer had Icen (Iceman de Muze x Eaton du Residal) jumping great and managed to achieve a nice sixth prize on Friday in the ZZ (1.35m) and on Sunday in the Grand Prix (1.40m) they even finished third. I-star (Big Star x Carthago) finished eleventh in the ZZ (1.35m) and Jacky Lanta (Warrant x Chello III VDL) also jumped convincingly in the ZZ (1.35m) and finished thirteenth.
We are also happy with the clear rounds of Lotus (George Z x Caretano Z) in the M class (1.20m) and New-Livia van 't Roth (Nonstop x Calypso III) in the Z class (1.40m).
The Stal Everse horses again showed their class at CSI Opglabbeek (BEL). Kiekum (Quick Star x Burggraaf) started in the class for 8-year-olds and this resulted in a very nice round and a seventh place. I-Star became eleventh in the 1.35m and also had his debut in the 1.45m. He jumped a great round, but unfortunately a mistake kept him out of a placement. Jacky Lanta also showed her form. Unfortunately time faults prevented her from placing in the 1.45m class, but she showed her carefulness and jumped three days without any faults.
Lotus, who has just turned 7 years old, had his international debut and achieved a great tenth prize in the 1.25m class and on Saturday he finished seventh in the 1.20m class. New-Livia van 't Roth also jumped great under Roosje Brouwer and became third in the 1.30m class and tenth in the 1.35m class.
