HOYS winner Classic III a 'phenomenal horse'

Day two of HOYS finished with a double of wins for Irish showjumper Trevor Breen and the talented Classic III (8 October). The pair won the Addington Manor Talent Seekers title, also scooping the national seven-year-old championship, which the class incorporates. Classic III (Armitage x Chin Chin) is sold by Everse Stables when he was four. The gelding is still owned by Karen Swann.

Trevor was one of three riders to achieve a double clear, but he posted the fastest time of 37.90 sec to win both titles. Tracey Priest and Market Irminka were second (38.03sec), while Charlotte Flack and Ratinka Khan took the third sport (46.62sec).
"He is a phenomenal horse,” said Trevor. “I've said before that he is probably the best horse I have ever ridden. Remember his name in a few years. He can do things that other horses can't. That is probably the biggest track he has ever jumped, and he did it so easily.”
