Historical victory for Big Star

Nick Skeltons horse Big Star (Quick Star), known as the best show jumper in the world, is winner of the Grand Prix of CHIO Aachen! On Sunday the stallion had to beat two other grandchildren of the greatness Galoubet A. Big Star, bred by Cees Klaver, was the best horse in the jump-off. Runner-up was  half brother Orient Express with Patrice Delaveau and 3rd was Palloubet d'Halong (Baloubet du Rouet) with Jannika Sprunger. In the toughest Grand Prix of the world Big Star was really amazing. He gave Nick Skelton the victory of the fourth (!) Grand Prix of Aachen in Skelton's career.

Big Star, who earned 330,000 euros prize money yesterday, has been owned by Stal Everse.
