The November Youhorse.auction attracted a record number of visitors. The KWPN approved stallion It’s Otto was the cherry on the pie. The 10-yr-old son of Etoulon VDL will go to Canada for 65,000 euro.
Auction organizer Mario Everse is tickled pink with the proceedings of the November auction: “Absolutely great with the KWPN stallion It’s Otto we had, of course, a very special offer and, as expected and hoped for, he was the auction topper of the evening. There was a lot of interest, anyway, for this collection, the number of visitors on the website broke all records!”
Exciting
“We could welcome many new bidders again and it is great to see that veteran buyers score at every edition of our auction. We are enormously thankful for the confidence people show Youhorse.auction. Buying and selling horses online is a very exciting activity. And I can assure you that we as the organisation also feel some healthy tension every time”, says a grinning Mario Everse.
“Our secret? Our offer is always very divers and there is something for every purse. That is what makes Youhorse.auction interesting for a large public. We have, of course, the sellers to thank for that offer. We are grateful that the sellers come to show us their good horses on the video/selection days, for thus they enable us to compile a good collection.
International public
The 3-yr-old gelding Pablo the Best (Aganix du Seigneur x Cupido Flamingo Z) was claimed for 45,000 euro by a reputable Irish rider/dealer. Carin Z (Canturano I x Harley VDL) changed hands for 30,000 euro. The 5-yr-old mare is one of the six horses that will cross over to the USA. The 3-yr-old Pierre (Kannan JR x Indoctro) was knocked down for 26,000 euro and will go to Sweden.
Ten horses will stay in the Netherlands, France and Germany each bought five talents and four will travel to Italy. A buyer from Cyprus claimed three promises for the future and two horses will get a stable in Latvia. Other auctioned horses will continue their careers in Saudi-Arabia, Mexico, Marocco, Turkey, Croatia and Israël for example.
Last chance on 19 December
The organization is now occupied with the preparations for the last Youhorse.auction of 2023. “On Tuesday 19 December we will have our Christmas edition. We offer free jumping talents and horses under saddle. The video/selection days for this auction are 27 & 28 November. If people have a remarkably talented horse to sell, they can report this via www.youhorse.auction”, says Mario Everse.
