New combination wins ranking class and GP

Author: Wendy Scholten
This afternoon Doron Kuipers won the CSI3* Grand Prix of Mijas, after also winning on Friday in the Longines Ranking class. Extra special about this is that he achieved this topresults with Blackberry (photo), who went to Spanish Mijas to get to know each other better. Blackberry (Larino x Kannan) was previously ridden by Mischa Everse and since the sale of Zinius ridden by Doron.

Last weeks Doron achieved many victories and high placings. Besides Blackberry he rode the show jumping horses Baileys (Vincenzo x Burggraaf), Evergo (Carthino x Goodtimes) and El Capone (Baloubet du Rouet x Acobat II) for Stal Everse .

James Paterson Robinson also made use of the last two weeks of the Spanish tour to start a newly purchased horse. Corneel (Cristallo x Ekstein), who was previously successfully ridden by Desiree van der Veek up to 1.30m level, is now owned by Stal Everse and Alan Waldman. This weekend, he jumped three clear rounds in the 1.40m classes. On the first day this resulted in a 5th prize, followed by a 2nd and a 3rd prize.

Amado Z (Andiamo x Purioso) also won several prizes with James Paterson Robinson.
