Spanish successes for Stal Everse

Author: Lynn Wossink
The Sunshine Tour in Spain has again yielded great successes for Stal Everse. The young horses jumped well and regularly won prizes, but the older horses also finished in the top ten several times. And perhaps most importantly: all horses have gained a lot of experience and have undergone enormous development.

"It was again an educational and very fun competition under the sun this year," says a happy Mario Everse. "The horses have learned a lot and have grown enormously. We thoroughly enjoyed it and so did all the horses."

Top horses in shape
Also Kerswin van het Roosakker (Echo van 't Spieveld x Diamant de Semilly) showed that the horses were in good shape. Under Roosje Brouwer he won a great fourth prize in the Small Tour Grand Prix and was placed several times in the top 10 with many clear rounds in the 1.45m.

There were also many educational and great rounds and placements of Jacky Lanta (Warrant x Chello) in the 1.40m and 1.45m, the nine-year-old Dudock Z (Darco x Portofino) under Senna Everse in the 1.30m and 1.35m and the nine-year-old King Kong (Diamant de Semilly x Polydor), who jumped fantastic rounds in his 1.45m debut.

The eight-year-old Lotus (George Z x Caretano Z) started for the first time in the 1.45m and not without success. He also jumped many clear rounds and qualified for the final of the eight-year-olds. With the eight-year-old Lily (Kannan x Diamant de Semilly), Mila Everse jumped to a number of top 10 placements in the 1.20 level and they successfully debuted as a combination in the 1.30m level.

Young horses also gained a lot of experience
The six-year-old E-Gold (E-Star x Vingino) ended her tour with only clear rounds in the 1.25m. The six-year-old Pergo (Perigueux x Carthago) also jumped fantastic with no less than seven clear rounds and qualified for the final of the six-year-olds.

The five-year-old horses Six Pack (Stakkato Gold x Kashmir van Schuttershof) and Elotte (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Larino) also performed well. They have both gained a lot of experience in the five-year-old classes. Six Pack jumped good rounds during his 1.15m debut and Elotte qualified for the final of the 5-year-olds after many clear rounds, in which she again jumped a nice round under Mischa Everse.
