The Dutch juniors, including our Senna Everse, gave their chef d'equipe Luc Steeghs an unforgettable 54th birthday this afternoon (Sunday). In the tropical heat they won the FEI Nations Cup for juniors on the beautiful jumping area of De Vossenbos in Wierden.
In the jump-off they stayed clear and beat the German team. Both countries recorded twelve faults in the two rounds of the Nations Cup competition, which necessitated an exciting extra round.
Senna Everse rode her ten-year-old bay gelding Kerswin van 't Roosakker. For the Grand Prix, the day before, she had borrowed a horse from her sister: Orso Del Terriccio (Indoctro). One pole fell in their fast jump-off, but we really enjoyed both rounds!
